【Bird's Nest Stewed with Fresh Milk】 Recipe

Bird's nest is rich in water-soluble protein (approximately 50%), containing about 9% sialic acid, as well as various amino acids, cellulose, carbohydrates, and a small amount of fat. Additionally, it contains minerals such as calcium, sulfur, potassium, phosphorus, and iodine, which are particularly beneficial for children's development and can accelerate recovery after illness and childbirth.

Stewed Bird's Nest with Fresh Milk

- Ingredients -

(1-2 servings)

Bird's Nest  2 pieces (approx. 15g)
Fresh Milk  250ml
Rock Sugar  A pinch

- Instructions -

1. Soak the bird's nest in cold water for half an hour, then remove any feathers and tear it into strands. 2. Place the soaked, rinsed, and drained bird's nest into a燉盅 (double boiler pot), then add fresh milk and rock sugar. Double boil over low heat for 30 minutes until done.
