Lao Xing Jia Instant Bird's Nest - Yan Wang Imperial Bird's Nest

Nourishes the lungs and boosts qi, enhancing immunity
"Guan Yan" refers to bird's nest that was historically presented as tribute to the imperial family, also known as "Tribute Swallow's Nest."
The Compendium of Materia Medica states that bird's nest enters the lungs to generate qi, enters the kidneys to nourish fluids, enters the stomach to tonify the spleen, and is nourishing without being excessively warming. Research by the Chinese University of Hong Kong indicates that bird's nest contains water-soluble protein, which can promote regenerative functions and enhance immunity.

Bird's Nest Knowledge

Bird's nest does not contain sex hormones
Bird's nests are built by both male and female swiftlets before incubation, and thus should not contain sex hormones. If bird's nest is said to contain a certain hormone, it is definitely not a sex hormone, but rather polypeptides and proteins, with amino acids being the main components.

Consuming bird's nest is not cruel
Swallows never reuse their nests; each nest is used only once. After the young swiftlets hatch and learn to fly, they abandon the nest. If the swiftlet mother reproduces again, she will build a new nest. Swiftlet farmers only collect abandoned nests that swiftlets no longer use.

Bird's nest does not cause cancer
The reason for cancer is unscrupulous merchants adding chemicals to change the color of bird's nest. It is important to choose reputable and trustworthy brands. In fact, research by the Chinese University of Hong Kong has found that sialic acid in bird's nest can nourish the skin and improve complexion, and even inhibit bacterial growth.
