Spiky sea cucumber is a wild sea cucumber that grows in deep sea areas. It has a long growth cycle and higher nutritional value than ordinary sea cucumbers. It helps to:

Soaking Method
- First, soak the spiky sea cucumber in clean water for about 2 days(depending on the size), changing the water every 12 hours;
- Add two slices of ginger to boiling water and bring to a boil. Then add the soaked spiky sea cucumber to the pot and cook for about 20 minutes. Turn off the heat and cover, soaking for about 10 to 12 hours. If the sea cucumber is larger, repeat the boiling and soaking steps one to two times until the spiky sea cucumber is soft;
- Take out the spiky sea cucumber, cut along the small hole at the bottom, remove the grayish intestinal wall and internal sand, then rinse thoroughly with clean water;
- Seal the soaked spiky sea cucumber in a fresh-keeping bag and store it in the freezer. Thaw before consumption.
